The interior was recently inspected by one of the preeminent Cadillac experts in the southwest who certified that the stunning black interior is 100% original and, with the exception of the wood having been recently refinished for the first time, the perforated leather is supple, taut and clearly has spent very little time in the sun over the last half century.
With the exception of the exterior which was refinished in its remarkably rare original color (claret red), in a finish that can only be likened to flawless Baccarat crystal, everything about this car is original. The, glass, engine, headlights, chrome and undercarriage are spectacularly original, as well as all the electronics, air conditioning, antenna, clock and power options which work flawlessly.
